Meet the Principal
Tracey Battle
Hello Dolphin Nation!
My name is Tracey Battle and I am excited to join the Davis Family for the 2023-2024 school year. I firmly believe ALL students can learn at high levels when provided with quality educational opportunities. I look forward to partnering with parents and the community to continue the Davis Dolphin commitment to excellence.
I am a native Oklahoman and moved to Texas in 2013 where I started my career as an educator. I taught elementary math and science before becoming a math instructional coach. In 2019, I joined Carrollton- Farmers Branch ISD as the Assistant Principal at Landry Elementary School. Preceding my career in education, I worked as a licensed professional counselor and as an administrator in the criminal justice/corrections sector.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Corrections/Criminal Justice (Langston University); master’s degree in Political Science (Oklahoma State University); master’s degree in Counseling Psychology (Northeastern State University) and I am currently pursuing my Superintendent Certification. I pride myself on being a lifelong learner!
I am married to a wonderfully supportive, and often comical, husband and proud mother to an amazing son. In my free time, I enjoy relaxing, reading, watching football and spending time with family and friends.
I look forward to partnering with Davis families and the Davis community to develop dynamic global thinkers. If I can be of assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me. It is my goal to support our students in achieving success. I sincerely believe our collaborative efforts will ensure our school is safe, emotionally supportive, and academically excellent.
