Counselor

Hello Dolphin Families!  My name is Monica Archuleta and I am excited to be the counselor at Davis Elementary School.

I am very proud to begin my 8th year in education. Originally from New Mexico, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in May 2014 and a double Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling in May 2015 from New Mexico Highlands University. Throughout my educational career, I have been a teacher associate, school social worker, and school counselor.

I have one beautiful daughter who continues to amaze me each and every day. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, traveling, talking to my family long-distance, and learning new recipes.

I believe that all students have what it takes to be successful in school and in life. It is my responsibility to support, guide, and encourage our wonderful students, and to support and collaborate with our Davis staff, families, and community. I look forward to a fantastic school year!
